Potter Space welcomes Albion Motion as the latest tenant at its Droitwich business park. The family-owned bearings distributor has moved into the purpose-built, 22,000 sq. ft. Unit 102, embarking on an exciting new chapter from this strategic location.
Albion Motion, founded by the Willitts family may be a brand-new company, but it brings a wealth of expertise through Lee Willits, who boasts 35 years of experience in the bearings industry. The company offers an extensive portfolio of bearings, power transmission and seals that serve a wide variety of applications through the trade - essential components in almost all machinery that moves, from car engines to rollercoasters.
Jason Rockett, Managing Director of Potter Space, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Albion Motion to our Droitwich business park. This facility not only meets the needs of a high-quality distributor like Albion Motion but also aligns with our commitment to creating sustainable, modern business environments.
“We are proud to contribute to the success of businesses across diverse sectors by providing sustainable facilities designed to meet the needs of today’s market.”
Lee Willitts, Co-Founder of Albion Motion, added: “As we establish Albion Motion, having a high-quality facility with the potential for future growth is essential. This move marks the beginning of an exciting journey for us.
“We were impressed by the quality of the facilities in the heart of Worcestershire, with easy access to key transportation links and a skilled local workforce. We look forward to seeing the Droitwich site evolve as Potter Space progresses to the next phase of investment.”
Unit 102 is part of the first phase of Potter Space’s £18 million investment in Droitwich. The facility meets a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, featuring solar panels, smart LED lighting, water efficiency systems, and enhanced insulation.
The 38-acre industrial estate in Droitwich site is in an optimal location, just 5 miles from Junction 5 of the M5 motorway and within close reach of Kidderminster, Worcester, and Birmingham. As part of its long-term growth strategy, Potter Space is also progressing with the next phase of its development at Droitwich, which will include a new 55,000 sq. ft. unit.
