We are extremely proud to announce that Potter Space is a platinum partner at this year’s UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) annual lunch and awards ceremony. The event, which is taking place at the Dorchester on 27th June, will mark the association’s 75th anniversary.
Attracting 450 logistics professionals, the special occasion will be celebrated with the attendance of HRH the Princess Royal as the guest of honour.
Her Royal Highness is the founding Patron of Transaid – a charity that works to transform lives by delivering safe, available and sustainable transport solutions across sub-Saharan Africa – and UKWA has pledged to raise £75,000 this year for such a worthwhile project.
Launched in 1944, UKWA is the leading trade body dedicated to serving the needs of the UK’s logistics industry. It has around 800 members who, between them, control nearly 100 million square feet of warehousing space across approximately 1300 locations in the UK.
The Potter Space team, along with its special guests, is looking forward to attending the event and catching up with old friends and meeting new ones within the sector.
Potter Space Managing Director, Matthew Lamb commented:
“We are honoured to be a platinum partner at this year’s special event. The UKWA annual lunch and awards is one of the highlights of the logistics industry’s calendar. This year, in particular, promises to be a truly memorable occasion as we celebrate such a remarkable milestone in the association’s history.”
