Evans International Removals and Storage has doubled its warehouse facilities at Potter Space Ripon to accommodate its expansion, following the acquisition of Ripon Removals and Deans Removals.
Subsequent to its purchase in June 2018, Ripon Removals continued to operate from one half of Unit 10 on the Potter Space site, which it has occupied for more than twenty years.
When the unit’s other occupier, Primary Diets, moved into Unit 60, a new 27,500 square foot warehouse on the business park last month, it enabled Evans International to expand into the whole warehouse to accommodate Deans Removals, which it acquired in December 2018, and re-locate the operation from its previous location in Boroughbridge.
Speaking about the move, managing director of Evans International, Val Evans, said,
“With our head office adjacent to Potter Space Ripon we were keen to bring the three businesses together under the Evans umbrella, although the companies will continue to operate under their own names.
“It was opportune therefore that Primary Diets was expanding into a purpose-built unit on the park, enabling us to bring the two companies under one roof. Its strategic location, close to the motorway network, is perfect for our business, which operates worldwide.
“Potter Space has been extremely supportive throughout the whole process, with its team following the principle that by providing the right facilities, its customers will thrive and prosper.”
Potter Space’s property director, Rob Barker, is pleased to welcome the new removal business to the business park.

So as soon as we became aware that Evans International had purchased Deans Removals, we advised Val that Primary Diets was moving to a purpose-built unit on the site, providing a perfect opportunity for her to bring all three companies together.
