We’ve been giving back this festive season!

We’ve had another year of giving back to our local communities and beyond, with community and charity work remaining a vital part of our ethos. As the year comes to an end, we reflect on our work and fundraising from the final quarter of 2023.

In the season for giving, our fundraising activities have included a Macmillan Coffee Morning, with customers and staff at Potter Space Droitwich raising funds for this worthy cause. The Droitwich team also hosted a Christmas Jumper Day, complete with cakes, coffee and plenty of festive cheer, raising funds for Save The Children, which will go towards helping children in poverty across the globe. But our worldwide initiatives haven’t stopped there. Weve also recently donated aid to Ukraine, including medicine, food and other much needed goods for those affected by the war.

Beyond our fundraising activity, were committed to supporting to the local communities surrounding our sites, particularly the local schools that foster our country’s future talent. Recently we have supported two local schools, The Rivers School and Cutnall Green Primary school in Worcestershire, close to Potter Space Droitwich, with renovation and green works. This included the provision of a new outside shelter and an espalier fence using apple trees, plum trees and pear trees at Cutnall Green school, and the demolition and re-build of a wooden shelter at The Rivers School.

Jason Rockett, Managing Director of Potter Space said: I’m proud to lead an organisation which values and supports charities and the local community. We value the role we play as part of the community in which we are located. Not only does that include providing a home for businesses to prosper and a great working environment for their employees, it also involves being an active part of the wider community. We support good causes, using our skills and time to help the local community.

It’s been a great year for Potter Space and we’re excited to carry on giving back in 2024. We have lots of plans in the pipeline already and are looking forward to seeing what the next year holds for us, our customers and our wider community.
